Kiara's Doll Heaven

Me, I bought a Dream of Baby, which is a brand-new type of DOD. The one I got is called "Libra" and is the most adorable "tiny" I have seen yet! I've wanted a tiny for a while now, so I'm really happy to be getting her. She's about 25cm tall, compared to 45cm for a mini and 60cm for a super.

This is what the default looks like. Mine has two wigs - a blond and a pink. I'm not sure what eye color she'll come with, but she'll have similar make up and the outfit shown here. DOD has been really behind lately in their dolls, so it's understandable that they took longer than the promised 3-4 weeks.. but this has gotten a tad nuts! I expected her at the latest to come the beginning of July.. Well, she was shipped last Tuesday Korean time. She was in the air as of Wednesday, on a flight due in on Thursday around 11:35am my time. Unfortunately, it's a long weekend here in BC and I think the post office staff took off early. I didn't see an update on the tracker until yesterday (odd, since it was Sunday) which finally admitted that the plane had arrived and my package was in customs. Sigh. I should see her on Wednesday. I'd better! I'm going crazy with the waiting!

To pass the time and prepare for her arrival, Kisho and I drove to Seattle on Friday. We went specifically to go to a doll shop in Bellevue, Dolls and Friends. It's an awesome little shop! I'm sad to hear they're closing at the end of August, but at least their website will still be up.

Next.. I redesigned the "rec room" for the kids..
